Co-Owner Nathan started recording with his bands in 2002 and never looked back. After making the move from Youngstown to Akron he was mentored by Randy Biddle for 3 years before becoming C8S's Chief Engineer. With a passion for getting the best take and sound out of an artist, he's always willing to take the time to get things right. Nathan's background in guitar and vocals gives him an edge to help your tracks pop. His three favorite things besides music are : his daughter, good whiskey and the outdoors.
Co-Owner Mike started his interest recording in 1998 which led him to study at Kent State's Music Technology program. Joining the Central 8 team in 2010 he quickly became known for his keen sense of sonics and ability to make a track stand out with clever production. Mike's background in piano and programming gives him a musical edge for helping to make tracks unique. His three favorite things besides music are : his wifey and dogs, and a quality craft beer.
Danny first started working at Central 8 Studios in 2010. After training under former owner Randy Biddle and working with Central 8 for a year, moved to Miami, FL to pursue production work. He worked alongside many artists before eventually moving back to Akron and re-joining the Central 8 Team. He specializes in rap, pop, and metal production. Danny also plays in the progressive metal band Wide Eyes and has plenty of experience with mixing and producing metal and hard rock music. Danny’s three favorite things are: Being a Djentleman, extended range guitars, and horror films.
Matt started recording at his home when he was 15 with focus on guitar playing and performance. Matt continued his passion for music while studying in the Music Technology program at Kent State Stark and joining the Central 8 team in 2013. His influences include Classical, Jazz, Classic Rock; to name a few. He enjoys mashing these styles together creating a very unique style of instrumental music. Matt's three favorite things are: Enjoying the outdoors, Listening to music & playing FIFA '15.
